I began my hairdressing career in 1989 and have worked in the industry every since working in many prestigious salons. In 2003 I decided to branch out on my own and Cathriona’s Hair Salon was opened in Castlegregory, Co. Kerry.
Since then we have established a great reputation focusing on a high level of customer care and dedication to excellence. I take my time to personally get to know each of my customers and specifically tailor treatments to their individual needs.
I am very lucky to be an award winning hair stylist and recognised as being a top creative talent in the field of celebrity styles as well as luxury hairdressing for catwalks and magazine shoots. My styles have appeared on TV3 Ireland, and both I and my team have styled for a number of high profile fashion shows.

Cathriona’s Hair Salon operates from salons in Tralee and Dingle in Co. Kerry. Premier award winning hair stylist Cathriona Rohan has worked with leading fashion events nationwide, appeared in national publications and glossy magazines and she has also worked on TV. The experienced and well-renowned team at Cathriona’s Hair Salon are continuously up-skilling to ensure the highest standards when it comes to styling, colouring, cutting and hair trends. The exceptional team provide a professional and unique service that is second to none.
Cathriona’s Hair Salon continues to offer a wide variety of treatments and products including Loreal, Olaplaex, Alfa Parf, Joico, Great Lengths, GHD and The Knotty Brush. The Salon also specialises in cuts and the very popular Great Lengths Hair Extensions. One of the key successes to Cathriona’s is her in-depth knowledge of the wedding industry, which led to the introduction of a Mobile Hair Service, bringing expertise conveniently to the clients. Her staff specialises in bridal hairstyles, as well as offering a comprehensive range of services for men and women, including free consultations.
At Cathriona’s Hair Salon we understand the importance of a great cut and colour and how the right hairstyle can make you feel like a million dollars – not only on the inside but on the outside as well.
In 2015 Cathriona opened up a new ‘state of the art’ salon in Tralee, Co.Kerry to satisfy the demand from customers in that location.
