We at Cathriona’s Hair Salon know how important your wedding day is and we believe that every bride should feel nothing short of heart-thumping love for her hair stylist on her wedding day. So, what’s the key secret to great wedding hair? The trial! This appointment will set the tone for your overall beauty look on the wedding day. So, to make sure your hair is styled to perfection (and, most importantly, to your liking) there are certain measures you need to take before your hair trial to get the most out of the experience.   

The Trial

We highly recommend a wedding trial 1-3 months before your wedding. It is much more relaxing and reassuring for you to know what style you would like to achieve on the morning of your wedding. It is also nice to have already met your stylist, which will help to put you at ease on this special day. We would ask you to bring your veil or head piece with you, and a photograph, so that we can match your style of dress.

One of our favourite inspiration ideas is to browse through Pinterest as it’s filled with amazing ideas for bridal hair – but don’t worry we will also help you along the way to see what suits your face shape and your dress style. We want to work with you to achieve your perfect look and make sure you feel a million dollars on your big day.

Your trial will take place in the calm surroundings of our boutique salon, but if required, we will travel to you – just let us know what suits you best.

Hair Package 1

For your convenience our Mobile Hair Service will come to you at your location of choice on the morning of your wedding. You and your bridal party will enjoy a calm and relaxing morning with a guarantee of excellence without any inconvenience.

Hair Package 2

This also covers morning package. We will meet you and your bridal party after the church and photographs to touch up your style, because as you know, to get a wind or rain free day is a blessing in Ireland. We can be on hand to keep you looking as perfect as you were when you walked up the aisle that morning.

This also covers package 1 and 2. You can begin your dream-wedding day with one hair style and finish with another. After a long day wouldn’t it be lovely to take a moment out to have you and your bridal party ready to go on that dance floor for your first dance as a married couple. We can accommodate that change either with a different hairstyle or just a different type of headpiece.
